Pre-conference workshop on facts in the media added to UKCSJ18 programme: apply to attend by 28 September

 

The ABSW has partnered up with the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) on a special addition to the programme of the UK Conference of Science Journalists 2018.

The pre-conference workshop on facts in the media is aimed at science reporters and is organised by WAN-IFRA and the World Editors Forum (find them on Twitter here: @newspaperworld).

The workshop Science in the Media – Keeping the Facts Straight will take place on 15th October in the Cotton Room of the British Library in London, just around the corner from the UKCSJ2018 main venue, the Francis Crick Institute.

The start time is 09:30am for 10:00am and the workshop will end at 16:30. It will be followed by drinks and dinner (venue TBC).

The workshop is free to UKCSJ2018 registrants but places are limited. To apply, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The deadline for applications is 28 September.
