UK Conference of Science Journalists to be held at the Royal Society in London on 13 October 2020

The largest gathering of science journalists in the UK, the UK Conference of Science Journalists, is taking place on 13 October 2020 and is expected to attract up to 450 delegates. You can now register your interest to attend.

The venue for the UKCSJ2020, the sixth edition of the conference, will be the Royal Society, the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.

The Society’s fundamental purpose, reflected in its founding Charters of the 1660s, is to recognise, promote, and support excellence in science and to encourage the development and use of science for the benefit of humanity.

The Society has played a part in some of the most fundamental, significant, and life-changing discoveries in scientific history and Royal Society scientists continue to make outstanding contributions to science in many research areas.

The lead development sponsor for the UKCSJ2020 is EurekAlert!, an online global news service operated by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

UKCSJ2020 is organised by the Association of British Science Writers (ABSW), an association for media professionals who cover science, medicine, environment, mathematics, engineering and technology, which has 600+ members and was founded in 1947.

We champion independence and excellence in reporting in these fields.

UKCSJ2020 will have two streams. Let us know what you would like featured by filling in this form.
